The SESHA/SIA International High Technology ESH Symposium and Exhibition will be returning to Scottsdale, Arizona. SESHA/SIA 2018 will be held at the recently renovated Embassy Suites by Hilton Scottsdale Resort, located only 11 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, April 16-20, 2018. This will be a perfect platform to participate in discussing cutting edge high technology ESH topics, foster collaborations, and network with top industry professionals, while experiencing a favorite location for SESHA meetings. Just outside of Old Scottsdale and overlooking Camelback Mountain in the heart of Scottsdale, the Embassy Suites by Hilton Scottsdale Resort is just minutes from championship golf courses, spa facilities, over 320 retail shops, dining at over 90 restaurants, over 80 art galleries, MLB Spring Training and outdoor recreation. Scottsdale is annually rated among the nation’s most desirable communities to visit. Scottsdale’s vibrant downtown is considered the finest urban center in Arizona.

You are invited to submit an abstract to be considered for inclusion in the Symposium. In addition to our regular 45 minute conference sessions, we are also looking for proposals on the following types of sessions:
· Sprint Sessions – A 20-minute presentation that focuses on a specific topic, such as a case study, research, or professional practice.
· Workshops — A one or two hour- long interactive session that focuses on developing practical knowledge and skills.
· Round Tables – Presentations are in a panel discussion format presenting various view points, and includes audience participation and questions.
· Professional Development Courses (PDCs) - PDCs are full or half day educational training sessions, which will may be held on Monday Afternoon, April 16th or Friday, April 20th.
Beyond the examples listed on this webpage, we are open to other new ideas! We are interested in topics that are relevant to environmental, health, safety or sustainability.

Each course will have a target audience indication to assist attendees in choosing their courses. Please include a syllabus of the course, an abstract (using the same format as noted on the submission for Symposium abstracts), bios of presenters and a budget.
· The deadline for abstract, PDC syllabus and bio submission is January 15, 2018.
· Notification of acceptance or rejection will be on or before January 25, 2018.
· Selected speakers must submit presentation materials by February 2, 2018 for peer review.
· Final determination on PDC enrollment/breakeven will be March 30, 2018.
