Obstructed Sprinkler Piping: A Ticking Time Bomb

Bruce Campbell
(JENSEN HUGHES)

Fire sprinklers are a common method of protecting facilities against the dangers of fire. Unfortunately, there are several common mechanisms for piping obstruction that can render these systems ineffective. This presentation provides an overview of the types of pipe obstructions, how to properly avoid and investigate occlusions, and review a real world example of the consequences of obstructed sprinkler piping.
